Vickers’ Electro-hydraulic servo valve SM4-20(15)57-80/40-10-S182 provides closed-loop control of the system, with advantages such as high position accuracy, repeatable speed curves, and predictable force or torque adjustment. The combination of SM4 servo valve, hydraulic cylinder, position sensor, and corresponding circuit can achieve stepless control of hydraulic cylinder position, with an accuracy of 0.025mm (0.001 inch) or higher.

 

Structure:

The servo valve SM4-20(15)57-80/40-10-S182 is a two-stage modular design flow control valve that can be integrated into a block or plate installation. The symmetrical torque motor with dual coil and four air gaps is installed on the first stage nozzle baffle pilot valve with six screws. The second stage adopts a four way slide valve and valve sleeve structure with mechanical zero adjustment. The position of the valve core is fed back to the first stage through the feedback rod. An integrated 35um filter protects the pilot stage from contamination.

Due to the high pressure of fire-resistant fuel, small clearance of hydraulic moving components, and servo valve clearance of 5-10um, it is necessary to ensure that the oil particle size reaches the specified SAE2 or NAS5 level before proceeding with the next stage of debugging work.
