Description:

The generator coil in the armature is winded and connected on a regular basis, forming the rotor winding. It is one of the main components of electrical and mechanical energy conversion in generator. Coils of an armature winding can have a single turn or multi turn. Each turn can also be formed by a number of parallel wires. The part of the coil embedded in the slot is called the effective part. The outstretched parts are the connection end, also called as terminal.
