The float valve BYF-40 of the generator float oil tank controls the tapered needle plug installed inside the valve plug by using the float lever actuator. According to the principle of hydraulic amplification, the valve plug follows the travel of the needle plug, opens the oil drain, and controls the liquid level of the oil tank or container. It is mainly used for the liquid level control of the seal oil tank of the steam turbine generator to keep it within a certain control liquid level range. It can also be used for oil drain valve of single flow ring seal oil tank.
